Berman Fink Van Horn Welcomes Lydia Hilton, Ruari O’Sullivan and Lauren Simons

March 17, 2017 – Atlanta, Georgia – Berman Fink Van Horn is pleased to announce three new attorneys have joined the firm. Lydia M. Hilton has joined as Of Counsel and Ruari J. O’Sullivan and Lauren M. Simons have joined as Associate Attorneys.

Ms. Hilton is an emerging leader in unmanned aircraft systems (“drone”) law.  Ms. Hilton represents commercial users, operators and manufacturers regarding compliance and risk management. With more than 25 years of commercial and business litigation experience, Ms. Hilton is also continuing her practice in real estate disputes and bankruptcy, financial services and general business litigation. Ms. Hilton is a graduate of Emory University School of Law.

Mr. O’Sullivan’s areas of practice include commercial real estate, general corporate, representation of entrepreneurial, start-up and family-owned businesses and mergers, acquisitions and corporate finance. Mr. O’Sullivan works closely with buyers, sellers, lenders, investors, developers, landlords and tenants in commercial real estate transactions. He also counsels entrepreneurs and business clients in a wide range of corporate transactions, from business formation to mergers, acquisitions and sales. Mr. O’Sullivan is a cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law.

Ms. Simons’ areas of concentration include business litigation, non-compete/trade secrets and real estate litigation. Ms. Simons began her career in the Governor’s Office of Consumer Protection, advocating for the rights of Georgia citizens before transitioning to private practice two years ago. In her current practice as a business litigator, she uses that unique experience to advocate for business and technology sector clients. A graduate of Emory University School of Law, Lauren was a Henry L. Bowden Scholar and received the Pro Bono Medal and Dean’s Public Service Award.
