About us
Creative, collaborative and dedicated to your business
Located in the Buckhead community of Atlanta, Berman Fink Van Horn provides a broad scope of business services and depth of expertise. Our name partners, Jeffrey Berman, Benjamin Fink and Charles Van Horn, began to practice together in 1997. Our commitment to a collaborative culture of mutual respect has contributed to our growth and hard-earned reputation.
Our clients include individuals, businesses and business owners that range from start-ups to large, established entities and publicly traded companies. We assist clients in all phases of their operations and corporate life cycles, from formation to succession, including transactions, litigation and dispute resolution. Commercial real estate matters as well as noncompete/trade secret, employment, business and real estate-related litigation represent significant areas of practice for our firm. Our clients do business throughout Georgia and across the United States, as well as internationally.
Volunteering in the communities in which we live and work is an equally important part of our culture. We are committed to supporting and volunteering our time to dozens of community and professional organizations.
In 2022, BFV celebrated the 25-year history of its name partners joining together to practice law. During this year, BFV was first recognized as a Best Place to Work by the Atlanta Business Chronicle and continues to earn this prestigious honor to date.
Sustainability at BFV
As individuals and as a firm, we are committed to a sustainable future for our planet. We are a member of the Law Firm Sustainability Network. Through this organization, we share best practices, realize key performance indicators and foster knowledge-sharing and innovation. Our efforts to promote sustainable business practices include an electronic management/paperless business model, active recycling, reduced electricity consumption and use of public transportation (our offices are conveniently located near MARTA, Atlanta’s public transit system). We also actively volunteer with Trees Atlanta, a non-profit organization that works to mitigate Atlanta’s tree loss, protect its forests, and increase its tree canopy. Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
We believe that a diverse background and cross-cultural awareness bring a broader range of perspectives and insights to better understand and service the needs of our clients. Thus, we endeavor to establish a genuine culture of diversity, equity and inclusion at our firm. We take great pride in having a collegial, collaborative, authentic and entrepreneurial environment, where we can learn from each other and from our diverse backgrounds and experiences.
As part of this effort, BFV seeks to promote diversity awareness within our firm and in our community. We strive to advance diversity, equity and inclusion in all aspects of our firm, including in our recruiting, retention, advancement and professional development efforts.
